Collection of your personal data:

The personal data that may be collected on this site are the following:

  • The contact form for the data protection manager: your first and last names, e-mail address, position and any other information you include in the free text zone, are saved. This information is necessary in order to communicate with the data protection manager and for you to access this service.
  • "Contact Us" form: your last name, first name, e-mail address, company and position, as well as any other information you include in the free text area are saved. Yucatan uses this personal information in order to contact you or to answer your questions or requests. This information is therefore necessary in order to access this service.

Legal grounds for processing personal data:

We collect and treat your personal data with your consent, in accordance with art. 6 (1 paragraph) of the GDPR. If the processing of your personal data is required due to a legal obligation by Yucatan, the legal basis is art. 6 (1 c) of the GDPR.

Personal data storage duration:

Your personal information is conserved for the time it takes to treat your request unless:

  • You decide to exercise, under the conditions laid out in point 7, one of your rights recognized under current legislation;
  • A longer storage period is authorized or imposed by a statutory provision or new legislation;

Personal data protection measures:

We want to remind you that by sending your personal data online, a security breach or unwanted access of your personal data is possible. That being said, during the time that your before-mentioned personal data is being conserved by Yucatan, we have put organizational, software, legal, technical and physical measures in place to ensure the confidentiality and security of your personal data and to safeguard this data from being damaged, erased or accessed by unauthorized third parties.

The access of your personal data is strictly limited to employees and officials of Yucatan that are bound by a strict confidentiality agreement and because of their duties have a reason to access said data.

However, the collected data may eventually be communicated to subcontractors that are contracted to execute tasks necessary for our website and services or for better managing relationships with you, without your authorization. It is explicitly noted that when performing their duties, the subcontractors have limited access to your data and have a contractual obligation to use this data according to the law. Outside of the cases illustrated above, Yucatan will not sell, rent, transfer or give access to your personal data to third parties unless you have given authorization- barring any legitimate reason (legal obligation, fraud or corruption abuses, rights of defense, etc.).

In the scenario where the visitor to our site is then redirected to another site where third-party services are employed that is not operated by Yucatan (such as payment services), the current charter is not applicable.

Data subject rights:

In accordance with current laws and regulations, you have the following rights:

  • Exercise your right to access this information in order to know what personal data you are associated with;
  • Request an update of your data if there are errors;
  • Request that your data be transferred or deleted;
  • Request that your information be deleted;

  • Oppose to, for legitimate reasons, the processing of your personal data;

For security reasons and in order to avoid any erroneous requests, proof of identity may be requested. Your proof of identity will be destroyed once your request has been processed.

The user has a right of access, modification or suppression to its personal data and right of objection that he can exercise with the CNIL (Commission National de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
