Press Relations and Editorial Strategy for EQUIP AUTO

EQUIP’AUTO SAS is the leading organizer of professional automotive trade shows and exhibitions in France and internationally. The brand brings together all stakeholders across the automotive value chain, from aftermarket services to mobility solutions. Present annually in Paris, throughout France’s regions, and internationally, EQUIP’AUTO stands as the undisputed leader in automotive trade shows and services.
Context and objectives
Yucatan has been supporting EQUIP AUTO since the 2023 edition in Lyon, helping to strengthen its media visibility among automotive professionals and mobility stakeholders. In 2025, EQUIP AUTO celebrated its 50th edition in Paris, marked by a new visual identity and a new unifying promise: “All united around the same passion.” This international edition brought together an ecosystem of 1,400 exhibitors and brands (50% of which were international), 14 business sectors, and more than 100,000 automotive professionals in Paris on more than 100,000 m² of exhibition space. Yucatan’s objective is to publicize this new dimension and EQUIP AUTO’s strengthened positioning by highlighting its role as the undisputed leader in European automotive events and its ability to unite the entire industry around common challenges.
Missions
- Write and distribute all press materials (press releases, press kits, opinion pieces) to the automotive trade press and general media in France and internationally.
- Develop and regularly update Q&As and key messages documents to ensure consistency in communications around the 50th anniversary and EQUIP’AUTO’s new brand promise.
- Organize the press conference, highlighting the historic significance of the 2025 edition and EQUIP’AUTO’s strategic repositioning.
- Manage the press room and coordinate interviews (organizer and exhibitors) to maximize media coverage.
